Today (14 August) the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”) turns five.
This is a date that deserves to be celebrated, as the LGPD and the work of the National Authority for Data Protection (“ANPD”) raise the reputation of Brazil each day, guaranteeing an adequate level of protection for personal data and the continuity of commercial relationships that drive the Brazilian economy.
