With the arrival of new partner, Clarissa Luz, our office has increased its capacity to meet market needs related to the General Data Protection Act (LGPD). By creating the new practice area on Data Protection, Felsberg Advogados is offering its clients specialized advice in compliance, judicial demands and arbitration proceedings related to Privacy, Cybersecurity and Technology Law. The arrival of our new partner is timed perfectly as the LGPD, ratified in August 2018, will enter into force in August 2020. The office now has 24 partners among whom 50% are women.
“We have always been an office that emphasizes innovation,” says the founding partner Thomas Felsberg. “We strongly believe in preparing ourselves, as well as our clients, for the future. The decision to integrate Clarissa within our team further reinforces this trend.”
“We are very happy to have Clarissa among our team as she represents an important reinforcement for us, notably in technology and data protection related to fintechs and other investments and transaction in M&A,” adds Evy Marques, partner in the Corporate and M&A practice and leader of the Innovation, Startups and Venture Capital area.
