Provided for in article 482 of the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws), dismissal for just cause is the worst penalty that an employer can apply to an employee. The rules of the law serve to guide attitudes that are practically prohibited, but the different situations that fit the law are subtle and therefore require the attention of the worker. Attitudes such as revealing company secrets, posting photos of the workplace or products, and compromising confidentiality, stand out.
