Campari received the Lixo Zero seal, granted by Instituto Lixo Zero Brasil and validated in the country by the organization Zero Waste International Alliance, due to its achieved rate of 98.5% of correctly disposed waste.
Fabricio Soler commented on the matter to Valor Econômico and highlighted that the Zero Waste certification can benefit the company and society. According to him, “the seriousness of the audit attests that they [companies] are not only interested in marketing or ‘greenwashing’ [greenwashing – false environmentally responsible assertions]”.
