The transformation of debts into shares has established itself as an effective strategy to reduce debt and promote the restructuring of companies in Brazil. This approach has been increasingly adopted in judicial recovery processes, with a growing number of creditors, including banks, willing to become shareholders in companies undergoing restructuring. In addition to helping to recover credits that could be considered lost, this tactic avoids significant cuts in the amounts receivable.
